Dining in Paris - Paris Vacation Rentals

Paris is one of Europe's culinary centers.

It may however come as a surprise that restaurants in Paris were not considered the best in France, rather some people prefer the French cooking found in small rural restaurants, outside of the city and away from the most popular Paris vacation rentals’ areas, closer to the farms and with their focus on freshness and regional specialties.

Even amongst French cities, Paris has long been considered by some people as second to Lyon for fine dining. As you read on, you will learn this is no longer the case.

In addition, places like San Francisco (San Francisco vacation rentals) and Sydney  (Sydney vacation rentals) for a short time outshined their Parisian for bearers, again with an emphasis on freshness of ingredients but also borrowings from other cuisines.

Parisian cooks did not just rest on their laurels during this time, rather they traveled, taught, and studied, and together with Paris's own immigrant communities, have revitalized the dining in Paris experience.

For the uninitiated, it is unfortunately possible to have a uniformly poor dining in Paris, mainly because many Paris attractions are situated in upscale areas of town, and that mass tourism attracts price gougers.

It is common to hear of people complaining of very high restaurants in Paris prices for poor food and poor service, because they always tried to eat close to major tourist magnets. Try to go eat where the locals eat for good food and great service. This may be just downstairs from your Paris vacation rentals seeing that it is rented from just that, a local.
